Window Tint
Window tint is a vinyl material that prevents a certain amount of sunlight from passing through the glass that it is placed on. Different percentages of tint allows for different amount of sunlight to pass through and offer different outside appearances.Simply put, the lower the percentage, the darker the tink will be. A 5% tint will be darker than 15% tint. A 15% tint will be darker than 30% tint, and so on. The percentage is in reference to the amount of visible light to pass through. So 5% tint only allows 5% of visible light to pass through into the vehicle. This in turn is why 5% tint is so dark.
